Are divorce proceedings public record?
In Kentucky, divorce proceedings are open to the public although the Court has complete control over who and what is allowed in the Courtroom. In some counties, certain types of cases are considered confidential while the same types of cases are considered open to the public. Of course, health and safety considerations may change how the Court handles their dockets.
