When you plead guilty to a DUI, you must complete alcohol education. You may have a number of questions including how long it will take to complete the Alcohol Education Program (AEP)? The answer is unknown until you are assessed and you choose a program provider.

The provider assesses you to determine the number of classes you must complete and the provider also determines the number of classes you may complete each week. Since you must complete the AEP before you get your license back, your suspension may actually be longer than set by the Court unless you apply for and are granted a hardship license once the minimum suspension time passes.

If you plan to plead guilty to DUI, then you can complete the AEP program BEFORE you enter your plea. You can decide which center makes sense for you. If you live outside Jefferson County, then click HERE to find approved providers in your area.
